Her other interests included listening to all kinds of music, reading romance novels, and cooking wonderful meals for family and friends. She also knitted and crocheted baptism gowns and large afghans for all the grandchildren. She created lots of beautiful knitted and crocheted items for the church. Isadora’s greatest joy was providing in home daycare for many children in the area. Over the years she did several different jobs, but she worked for many years at the Hortonville Toy Factory.
In 1962 the couple moved to Bear Creek, Wisconsin, and settled in Clintonville in 1972. Isadora was united in marriage on July 22, 1957, to Juan Gonzales in Seguin, TX. She grew up and attended school in Marion, TX. The former Isadora Cruz was born on April 4, 1938, in Marion, Texas, to Agapito and Isabel (Villanueva) Cruz. Isadora Gonzales, age 83 of Clintonville passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021, at her home.
